Fixture work looks simple until a corroded shutoff valve refuses to close or the supply line thread is a size no longer sold. We carry the adapters and replacement valves, so a straightforward swap stays straightforward.
Every installation is pressure-tested and checked for drips before we pack up.
When to call us
- A drip that a new washer no longer fixes.
- A toilet that runs on, rocks on the floor, or will not stop filling.
- A shutoff valve that will not close — or weeps once you have turned it.
- A disposal that hums without turning, or leaks underneath.
- You have bought the fixture already and want it fitted properly.
What happens when we come out
- The shutoff valve and supply line get checked before anything comes off.
- Where they are past it, they are replaced — most callbacks we inherit start here.
- The fixture is fitted, set level, and sealed.
- We pressure-test it, run it, and check underneath for drips.
- The old fixture and the packaging leave with us.
Questions about fixture installation
- I bought the faucet myself. Will you fit it?
- Yes. Tell us the make and model when you book so we bring the right adapters — supply thread sizes vary more than most people expect, and that is what turns a one-visit job into two.
- Why would changing a tap need a new shutoff valve?
- It often does not. But a valve that has not moved in fifteen years sometimes will not close, and occasionally will not reopen. Where we find one like that, we price the valve before touching it rather than after.
- Can you fit a bidet seat?
- Yes, including the supply tee it needs behind the pan.
