Optimal Plumbing is a plumbing company working out of the Bronx. We do residential and commercial work — water heaters, leak detection and pipe repair, fixture installation, drain snaking, and scheduled service for property managers — across The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Nassau County, Suffolk County, Westchester County and Bergen County.

How we price work

You get a written price before anything starts, and the number you approve is the number you pay. Estimates for planned work are free. A diagnostic visit for a problem that is already happening carries a service call fee, and that fee comes off the repair if you approve it.

Prices are subject to change due to potential material price increases, or a change in conditions or scope of work. That is on every quote, and it is there because material prices move and because nobody knows what is behind a wall until it is open. It is not on invoices: an invoice is what the work actually came to.

How scheduling works

Book a day and a morning or afternoon arrival window online, and we confirm every booking by phone before we come out — a booking is not a job until someone has spoken to you. Our office hours are below. We are not a 24-hour service, and we would rather tell you that here than have you find out at 2am.

Do you charge for estimates?

Estimates for planned work are free. Diagnostic visits for an active problem carry a service call fee, which is credited toward the repair if you approve the work.

How do I pay?

We accept credit and debit cards, bank transfer (e-check), cash, and check. You can pay online from the invoice we email you, or from your customer portal.

How does booking work?

Pick a day and an arrival window — morning or afternoon — and we confirm every booking by phone before we come out.
